Welcome!

Hey Everybody!! Thanks for stopping by and checking out my new blog! Take a look around, don't forget to check out the website. I hope that you are able to learn a little about me through this blog. I'll' try and post daily, although I've found that it's easier said than done.

Where to begin? My name is Andrea Robinson and I'm a wedding photographer located in the beautiful Hemet Valley of Southern California and I love what I do! I feel fortunate to be able to captures all of life's most precious moments both personally and professionally.

Enjoy!

A Sunday at the San Diego Zoo

Yesturday, we conquered the weekend crowds at the San Diego Zoo. We met my cousin Jessica, her husband Mike and there cutie pie daughter Maddy at the zoo. The morning was great, it was overcast and cool! I love mornings like that. Although, the morning was a perfect temperature, we managed to hit a little drama.

Once we got into the park, we like everyone else, gathered around the Flamingos, to coordinate a plan of attack - what the best way to view the entire zoo? We decided on beginning with the bus tour, after purchasing our tickets and parking the strollers, I realized the my oldest daughter, Jacquelyn isn’t with us! I frantically look around seeing where she was and nothing. She gone! My heart was pounding, I/we have never “lost” her before! Sam quickly backtracks to where we were and found her at the flamingos calmly looking around and saying “mamas gone”. Thank goodness she was alright!

The rest of the day was smooth sailing, well as best as could be with a 2 1/2 year old, 1 1/2 year old and 2 month old.

Every time I go to a place, I leave there thinking , “what would I do different”. What I would do different next time is to try and take the bus tour right at 9am when they open followed by a long walk down to the Panda Bear exhibit. Once we were in the Panda bear exhibit, the line way way too long and moving very slowly, but I would like to view them next time we are there.

If you are thinking about going to the San Diego Zoo, on October 2nd which is the parks 92nd anniversary there is FREE admission for everyone.

Rick Smolan: A girl, a photograph, a homecoming

I’m a sucker for a good story, so when I found this link from another form, I wanted to share it with everyone.

It’s a little long, so grab a cup of coffee and sit back.. Enjoy.

Jacquelyn + London

Hey Everyone! I would like you to meet my two beautiful daughters (although I am a bit biased). Jacquelyn is two years (and four months - but whose counting) and London is two months old. I love the last photo - London just kept starring and smiling at my mom, it was great. I just love this age!

Solona Beach - Farmer’s Market

It’s been very warm here in Hemet! On Sunday it was 105! So, we (my family and I) decided to escape the heat and go down to Carlsbad. The weather was great mid 70’s with a nice breeze… While we were down there we went to the beach, Carlsbad Outlets and then drove down to Solona Beach to check out the Farmer’s Market. We got there just before all the vendors started packing up, but I was able to snap a couple of things…

Glenda + Tim

Around four months ago I received a phone call from a bride looking for a photographer. We had many phone and e-mail conversations but never had the privilege of meeting in person until last Saturday, the day of her wedding! She is as nice in person as she was on the phone! Glenda you are so sweet. Thank you for allowing me to be apart of your special day, congratulations!

Sneak Peak

I’ve been busy editing all morning! I thought I would share some photos from Saturday’s wedding. I’ve been anxiously waiting for their wedding for the last 6 months! I had a great time shooting their engagement session and I knew their wedding would be great too! Their friends and families are such great people and everyone was smiling, laughing and extremely happy for the bride and groom.

Congratulations you two!

Father’s Day

I hope that everyone enjoyed Father’s Day. I was able to spend this day with my most two favorite men.. my husband and my dad. Over the weekend we went and saw two movies.. THE HULK - which is a GREAT movie! A must see! Although the graphics aren’t as spectacular as they were in IRON MAN , it’s still very entertaining. The Happening.. if you haven’t seen it yet.. then I would recommend waiting.. it’s a renter! We were very disappointed.. but I don’t want to spoil it in case you haven’t seen it yet.

Cheri and Terry

I thought I would share a few photos taken from Cheri and Terry’s wedding last weekend. You guys are so cute together. Hope your having a blast in Jamaica!
